With our professional cooks you will learn to make fresh pasta, delicious pasta sauces, traditional recipes, delectable vegetables and desserts, and much more according to season, with aromatic herbs grown in the Rigacci's kitchen garden.
During cooking classes we’ll prepare meal choosing from appetizers, first and main course and delicious desserts. The cooking classes can be planned to suit your needs and vary from about 2 to 3 hours.
You can complete your Villa Rigacci cooking class experience by tasting excellent local Tuscan wines beginning with the nearby area, the Chianti Classicoor Chianti Ruffina area, then wines as "Vino Nobile" from Montepulciano and "Rosso" or "Brunello" from Montalcino.
In a special Pasta Cooking Class you learn how to do real hand made italian pasta like tagliatelle, spaghetti alla chitarra, ravioli, tortellini and homemade lasagne.
You may learn to prepare Italian bread as ciabatta and make first steps in preparing your own pizza.
Enjoy the results of your efforts over lunch or dinner in our garden and terrace restaurant overlooking the pool. During September, when the tempertures cool down you enjoy the meal in our dining room where the warmth and the smell of wood burning in the fireplace and thick medieval walls welcome and shelter you in Rigacci's charming country style restaurant, elegant and informal.
